The electronics postgraduate program has a solid and qualified personnel, their main lines of research are: Microelectronics, Circuit design, Computer Assisted Design (CAD) Communications and Instrumentation.

Several prestigious international institutions support us in our efforts, for example, Texas A&M University, the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), Interuniversity Microelectronics Center (IMEC, Belgium), University of Pavia (Italy),

University of Catania (Italy), University of Bologna (Italy) and the Naval University. Also, the Electronics Postgraduate Program (PROPOE) was created and functions on a national level between the INAOE and University of the Americas in Puebla (UDLA) which offers students combined courses.

Our students also have broad perspectives for developing interdisciplinary projects in the fields of Astrophysics, Optoelectronics and Optics in general, these projects all have international importance and impact.
